All Aimée Ann Lou footwear collections are manufactured in artisan factories in Italy.
Our focus is upon uplifting communities and setting standards in sustainability from materials to processes. We believe in supporting and preserving the heritage and exceptional craftsmanship that has developed in this region over the centuries.
Our suppliers are focused on reducing CO2 emissions and reducing waste. Our culture is environmentally conscious with longevity and positivity entrenched in the Aimée Ann Lou ethos.
MATERIALS
CERTIFIED GOLD-RATED LEATHER, ORGANIC SILK AND COTTON
We only use the finest Italian sourced natural materials to craft Aimée Ann Lou footwear. Our Chrome-Free nappa leather is made by Gruppo Dani, gold-rated by the Leather Working group (LWG), the best certification attainable for environmental compliance and performance capabilities of leather manufacturers under sustainable environmental practices.
Aimée Ann Lou satin is sourced from one of the finest weaving mills in Italy, Attilio Imperiali, renowned for the highest quality using LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres for production. ECOVERO™ yarn reduces water consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% compared to classic viscose. All our silk and Cotton is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certificated biologic silk and organic cotton, the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria.
HEELS AND STRASS ACCESSORIES
OUR INNOVATIVE JEWELLED HEEL
Our signature strass heel has been designed over months of careful design consideration with talented Italian technicians and artisans, crafted from a mix of nickel-free metals, consious rhinestones and recycled ABS.
Our innovative bezel design (a method used in the high jewellery industry) is used to tightly secure the crystals eliminating the requirement for adessives or toxic glues.

AIMÉE ANN LOU SIGNATURE STRASS
All of our crystal rhinestones are sourced from an environmentally conscious supplier ensuring reduced CO2 emissions and waste products, environmentally friendly working practices, and guaranteed safe working conditions throughout the entire production process.
All crystals are made in compliance with the significant RSL restrictions and comply with REACH (a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals).
PACKAGING
100% PLASTIC FREE AND 100% RECYCLABLE
Consciousness guides our journey from production to packaging. Each pair of Aimée Ann Lou shoes have been wrapped in 100% recycled tissue paper and delivered with recycled cotton (GRS) dust-bags recognised by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).Our cardboard boxes are 100% recycled and recyclable and are covered in our signature lilac textured paper that is FSC® certified. Aimée Ann Lou’s packaging supplier operates under a minimal waste policy and employs renewable solar energy as part of its power supply.
