AIMÉE ANN LOU MATERIALS
Certified LWG Sustainable Leathers
Our calf Nappa is made by Gruppo Dani, one of the best tanneries in Italy and one of the finest for its social-environmental responsibility principles. All leathers are produced in a fully controlled vertical production system. The company is fully certified for environmental management (ISO standard). It has been gold-rated by the Leather Working group (LWG), the best certification attainable for environmental compliance and performance capabilities of leather manufacturers under sustainable environmental practices.

Eco-responsible Satin
Our satin is sourced from one of the finest weaving mills in Italy, Attilio Imperiali, renowned for the highest quality. The LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres used for production are derived from certified renewable forests using an eco-responsible production process and meeting high environmental standards. ECOVERO™ yarn reduces water consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% compared to classic viscose. All our silk is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certificated biologic silk, the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria.
Attilio Imperiali is committed to reforestation projects and achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
Velvet made from FSC Forests
Aimée Ann Lou velvet is exclusively made in Italy from viscose certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®), which promotes sustainable management of the world’s forests. The yarn is of the highest quality and catches the light creating a lustrous look and feel.
Our screen printed velvet and satin is achieved with non-toxic ink and we have invested in a mold design which can be used an endless number of times to reduce waste.
AIMÉE ANN LOU HEELS AND CRYSTALS

OUR SIGNATURE HEEL
Our signature AAL heel has been designed over months of careful design consideration with talented technicians and artisans, crafted from a mix of nickel-free metals and recycled ABS. This recycled plastic compound is also widely considered more durable, longer-lasting, and easier to recycle than PVC. Our innovative bezel design (typically seen in the jewellery industry) is used to tightly secure the crystals eliminating the requirement for adessives or toxic glues and improving longevity, exceeding current options available, and meeting true luxury standards.

AIMÉE ANN LOU CRYSTALS
All crystals are sourced from an environmentally conscious supplier ensuring reduced CO2 emissions and waste products, environmentally friendly working practices, and guaranteed safe working conditions throughout the entire production process. All crystals are made in compliance with the significant RSL restrictions.

We want all our customers to benefit from our decision to innovate and adopt the best environmental and social techniques and practices without compromising on quality or style. We are committed to being as sustainable as possible. We have our ears to the ground and our eyes wide open in order to absorb the latest developments that might benefit our community.
